Description

HIS CLAIM TO FAME: Don Juan is an original Accoyo import herdsire.  One of only 68 imported.  One of only 4 remaining alive.cvfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

This picture was taken when Donnie was 17 years old.  Should be enough said! Don Juan is white and carries a recessive black gene. He is a magnificent Accoyo male with outstanding fiber and flawless conformation, typical of the select line Accoyo males. His 10 year-old fleece won 1ST place at the 2004 AOBA Fiber to Fashion Show spin-off. He consistently passes his outstanding fiber, excellent bone capacity, flawless conformation, spectacular phenotype and beautiful head to his offspring. Farm visitors are surprised by the incredibly soft fleece and physical vigor displayed by this 20 year old macho. Don Juan is still breeding but has not produced a viable pregnancy this season. We have some highly prized sons and daughters available on our farm.

The "Don Juan Head" is a classic feature around our farm.  He throws a gorgeous head with a phenomenol top-knot and tiny little "cat ears" sticking out of the top.  He is also known for throwing tremendous staple length onto his offspring.  His son Juan Colorado (expecting his first 2 cria this season) has an EPD of +7 for staple length!  Don Juan was purchased from Magical Farms where he was used for many years to extend staple length while maintaining fineness, density and big-bold crimp on his offspring.  The extended staple length adds shear weight.
