This spectacular Matrix daughter is carrying Titan's last cria. For those who know, we probably don't need to say anything more than that, but we will. Titan (yes, the old Accoyo import) died last November. Getting one of his last cria is a coup. Getting his last cria out of a Matrix daughter is unbelievably good fortune. Since both Titan and Matrisia carry a black gene, we are hoping for the ultimate black macho from this pairing, but the cria, of any color, should be a knock-out. The pedigree will be a who's-who of alpaca genetics... Titan, Bueno, Legacy, Elite, Quechua, Snowmass XXXtreme, Cahuide, and Hemingway. Matrisia herself is spectacular. She's a beautiful fawn (Snowmass considers her a fawn gray) shearing over 10 pounds of class II fiber. She has perfect conformation and a beautiful head with the most soulful eyes on the farm. Not only does she carry a EPD banner for being in the top 1% for fleece weight, she's in the top 10% for fineness, top 2% for Mean Curvature and top 1.3% for medulated fiber.
If you want this package, you will have to pay the price. At Casa de Arboles, everything is for sale. However, the ones we want to keep are priced accordingly. This is one we want to keep
Matrisia will be sold with her female juvi at side. Mixie is by our prepotent aussie herdsire Pinaroo Farm Son of a Gun. He is a rare Ruffo son. An Accoyo import herdsire, Ruffo was shipped to Australia leaving almost no descendants in North America. Mixie has never been shorn, but our fleece graders estimate she is carrying a 15 micron fleece over 5 inches long. We would consider separate offers for this lovely beige daughter: grand-daughter of both Matrix and Ruffo!
