WHO can argue with this fleece!  She is just amazing!  Not only does she have an EPD of +0.6 lb for weight and a -1.2 for micron, BUT she also has a curvature EPD of +2.1 and staple length of +1.8!!!  Her babies should be very advanced!  Add to that, she's bred to our compact and dense herdire, Ka-Boom for a cria due in August.  

 Primera is the result of pairing our best production dam, Juanita, with our spectacular Hemiaccoyo, Himalaya.  Juanita came from Canada and has some very unusual Peruvian/Accoyo genetics, including Jolimont Peruvian Pauco (from Australia) and the original Accoyo import PPeruvian Victor.  Juanita is also the dam of 2 males that we have chosen to keep for herdsires, Ulio Macho Hairball, now owned by Longneckers Alpacas, and Juan Colorado, who we've bred for the first time this year.

Primera is an excellent choice for a young production dam.
